Sunlight Therapy: A Modern Look at Ancient Healing
God’s design for life is always the best medicine! This book, The Healing Powers of the Sun by Richard Hobday, PhD, is an excellent exposé on the historical studies that prove the health benefits of sunlight, the architectural practice of inviting sunlight deep into the interiors of healing spaces, and the importance of implementing sun therapy to ward off diseases such as cancer. This book turns western medicine on its head and exposes the lies we’ve been sold in modern culture. Humans have a fundamental, biological requirement for sunlight to maintain or regain health.
Let Them (part 2)… Dark Muse
Have you ever been eaten up inside by imposter syndrome- except the imposter is a newcomer to your industry who achieves unmerited success without any talent? We all know it’s not the hardest worker who gets attention but the loudest one on social media, and that’s enough to drive any professional a little cray-cray. Part 2 of my takeaways from Mel Robbins book LET THEM. We should use these imposters as our personal DARK MUSE- someone whose mere existence aggravates us into greatness! Discontentedness can propel you forward if you harness the negative energy for good.
Let Them (Part 1)
I had to dive in to the highly acclaimed book of 2025 by Mel Robbins. It wasn’t earth shattering but it wasn’t a yawn-fest either. I appreciate her blunt style and hard-hitting truths. People are judgmental, they think mean thoughts and say mean things and that’s THEIR PROBLEM. We need to let it go and just focus on being the best version of ourselves we can muster. Worrying what other people think of us drains our energy and stops us from moving forward in life.
Book Rebellion
Have you ever resisted reading a book so strongly that you felt a visceral reaction to even the idea of it? Of course you have! But here’s a difference between righteous repulsion- being disgusted by evil- and spiritual warfare.
