What is Discernment?

Discernment is critical in the modern age of information, misinformation and downright deception. We have to discern fact from fiction in the News, true from false when it comes to natural health claims, and even real from fake when it comes to buying products! One of the best tools for discerning is to WAIT. Press pause before making an emotional decision. Learn to exercise impulse control, and start being a skeptic. Do the research, read the reviews, and most importantly ask God for wisdom in your decisions. Scripture says if you ask for Wisdom, He will give it to you in abundance.

Sunlight Therapy: A Modern Look at Ancient Healing

Sunlight Therapy: A Modern Look at Ancient Healing

God’s design for life is always the best medicine! This book, The Healing Powers of the Sun by Richard Hobday, PhD, is an excellent exposé on the historical studies that prove the health benefits of sunlight, the architectural practice of inviting sunlight deep into the interiors of healing spaces, and the importance of implementing sun therapy to ward off diseases such as cancer. Let Them (Part 1)

Let Them (Part 1)

I had to dive in to the highly acclaimed book of 2025 by Mel Robbins. It wasn’t earth shattering but it wasn’t a yawn-fest either. I appreciate her blunt style and hard-hitting truths. People are judgmental, they think mean thoughts and say mean things and that’s THEIR PROBLEM. We need to let it go and just focus on being the best version of ourselves we can muster. Worrying what other people think of us drains our energy and stops us from moving forward in life.
